This case involved a patient who previously underwent cleft lip and palate nose reconstruction at our clinic four years ago and was initially satisfied with a natural result. However, they later expressed a desire for a more defined and dramatic transformation.
Cleft lip and palate nose revisions require special attention since the nasal structure is often weaker and more asymmetric. Thus, structural stability was the priority, using rib cartilage for septal reinforcement.
Key surgical highlights:
Nasal tip elevation & width reduction – created a sharper, more elegant look
Alar base refinement – further improved proportions
Functional breathing correction – enhanced both aesthetics and comfort
The final result transitioned from a natural aesthetic to a more striking and glamorous look, fulfilling the patient’s evolving aesthetic goals.
