Today, I’d like to share the story of a female patient who came to us wanting to correct a prominent hump, a droopy nasal tip, and address nasal obstruction issues. 1. Pre-Surgical Analysis
During our consultation, we analyzed her photos and noted the following:
Front View: The nasal tip appeared wide, and there was asymmetry between the nostrils and alar region.
Side View: A noticeable hump was present on the bridge, and the nasal tip drooped, giving the appearance of a longer nose. Additionally, the nasolabial angle (the angle between the nose and upper lip) was less than 90 degrees, further contributing to the droopy appearance.
2. Surgical Plan and Procedure
To address both functional and aesthetic concerns, we designed the following surgical approach:
Bridge and Tip Reconstruction Using Autologous Rib Cartilage: Building up both the bridge and tip without implants for a natural look.
Hump Removal: Smoothing the bridge to reduce the hump.
Lateral Osteotomy: Narrowing the bridge to refine the nose’s overall shape.
Septal Extension Graft: Lifting the tip to correct the droopy appearance.
Septoplasty: Correcting a deviated septum to alleviate nasal obstruction.
Turbinate Reduction with Radiofrequency Laser: Treating turbinate hypertrophy to further improve breathing.
This comprehensive approach addressed both her aesthetic goals and nasal functionality.

3. Post-Surgical Results
In the immediate post-operative photos, the following changes were observed:
Front View: The widened tip was refined, and the nostril and alar asymmetry were significantly improved.
Side View: The nasal hump was seamlessly removed, and the drooping tip was lifted to a more elegant and balanced position.
Overall, her nose now has a more natural and feminine appearance, enhancing her facial harmony and boosting her feminine charm.
