4. Surgical Approach
a. Functional Improvement

Submucosal reduction of inferior turbinates using radiofrequency laser for rhinitis relief.
b. Structural Correction
Lateral osteotomy to straighten a deviated nasal bridge.
Removal of previously inserted threads.

c. Length Reduction

5. Expert Opinion
Correcting a long nose involves more than just reducing its length—it requires a comprehensive restructuring of the nasal anatomy. Without proper planning and execution, the nose may revert to its original length due to natural tissue memory. In this case, appropriate overcorrection was applied to achieve a stable outcome.
Additionally, severe asymmetry can limit the extent of complete symmetry restoration. However, achieving a natural and balanced appearance within the limits of the patient’s anatomy is always the primary goal.
This case demonstrates the importance of considering both functional and aesthetic aspects in rhinoplasty. For those struggling with long noses and hump noses, I hope this case provides valuable insights.
