One of the most difficult complications of nose surgery is contracted nose caused by inflammation. While inflammation is being treated, subcutaneous tissue, including normal cartilage, suffers irreversible deformation and contraction. This creates a contracted nose that twists and raises the nose tip.
In particular, if the normal cartilage that maintains the structure of the nose is damaged or removed by previous surgery, the shape of the nose is severely damaged. Contracted nose plastic surgery removes the cause of inflammation, rebuilds damaged cartilage, waits until the subcutaneous tissue recovers, and then shapes the nose using only autologous tissue. Stem cell injections or PRP injections may be used together to restore faster skin or subcutaneous tissue.
