Overview

This case is a successful rhinoplasty case that simultaneously achieved functional improvement along with correction of the bulbous nose. Various aesthetic issues such as a blunt and wide nose, a short and droopy nose tip, a slight nasal hump, and asymmetry of the nostrils were solved simultaneously, along with functional problems such as a deviated septum and hypertrophy of the inferior turbinates.

It is particularly noteworthy that this entire procedure was performed using a closed rhinoplasty approach, which greatly helped to shorten the postoperative recovery period and minimize scarring.

The combined use of techniques such as subcutaneous tissue removal, cartilage repositioning, and cartilage tying for the correction of the bulbous nose played an important role in achieving a natural result. In addition, the nasal septum extension surgery was used to improve and lenghten the droppy nose tip, thereby improving the overall balance.

In terms of functionality, septoplasty and inferior turbinate reduction have improved nasal congestion symptoms and respiratory function. This is not just a cosmetic improvement, but is also an important aspect that can contribute to improving the quality of life.

In terms of nose bridge correction, we were able to create a masculine straight line, without making the nose shape too high, and giving it a natural-looking height as result. This can be seen as a result that well reflects the recent male rhinoplasty trend.

Conclusion

Male rhinoplasty requires a delicate approach that takes into account individual preferences and facial characteristics . In general, a straight line bridge is preferred , and a natural height for the glabella has recently become a trend instead of a high glabella. However, this is only a general trend, and each individual's desired height and nose shape may vary.

Therefore, for those considering rhinoplasty, it is important to establish a customized surgical plan that takes into account their face shape, characteristics, and personal preferences through sufficient consultation with a specialist . Noselab Clinic offers the most suitable solution for each patient based on its extensive experience and expertise.

I hope this case was helpful to those who are concerned about a blunt, spread nose or a bulbous nose. With proper surgical planning and technique, you can create a natural and balanced nose. In addition, please remember that functional improvement can also improve respiratory function.

Through a comprehensive approach that simultaneously considers functional and cosmetic improvements, we aim to create beautiful noses that breathe easy.

With Noselab Clinic you can achieve a beautiful and healthy nose!

Thank you.
