4. Surgical Plan & Approach
a. Septal Reconstruction
Reconstructed the damaged septum using donated rib cartilage after post-orthognathic nasal trauma.
Performed septal extension grafting to enhance nasal tip projection & support.
Lateral osteotomy to align the nasal bones and improve symmetry.
b. Functional Enhancement
Corrected the deviated septum to restore balanced nasal airflow.
Performed radiofrequency turbinate reduction (submucosal resection) to treat hypertrophic rhinitis.
Ensured long-term stabilization of nasal function.
c. Aesthetic Refinement
Performed alarplasty on the right side to correct congenital nostril asymmetry.
Reduced the nasal base width while maintaining natural proportions.
Created a sleek, structured "straight bridge line" that harmonizes with the patient's facial features.
